Here is how to add pictures from an earlier posting...

quote:

With many thanks to member Rob Palmer here is how to do it.........

"After you have pressed either the "Reply" or "New Post" button, you should see, under all the smiley faces, the "Insert image" button.

Pressing it brings up another dialogue box. Insert the webpage address (www. etc)that your photo is on (copy and paste is easiest) and then press ok.

A load of text will appear in your message box, this represents the photo and it will show as such after you have pressed the "Submit Reply" button. Or at least thats the idea!

I use www.villagephotos.com to host some of my photos, its free for a limited number of photos and pretty straight forward to use. You may need to resize some of your photos so they are small enough to be accepted onto the site. More info is on their site.

Hope that makes sense!"

Cheers Rob!

Hope this helps...

If you follow the above it should end up like this (below). First though right click on the photo you want to use and choose 'Copy Image URL'

Then select 'Insert image' from above where you insert the text into your message. A pop up box appears and you paste the photos URL into the pop up box provided by Runboard by right clicking in the box - it starts with http:// - then choose 'paste' from the options when you right click.

Image

If you look at the resulting computer blurb in your message it should look something like [ img ]http://xxxxxxxxx[/ img ]

If you are not sure it is correct - click on 'Preview' below where you write the message. This gives you the chance to see what you are about to post.

Once you have done one its easy - honest!
