Getting ready for Summer

Hopefully you can see the images included.

I've been busy modifying my centre console front to accept a modern temperature gauge. Only a temporary fix until I can get my original gauge sorted. The hole will then be used for a clock. Also moved the heater fan switch and fitted a 'tell-tale' lamp to show when my electric fan is running. The round blob on the left is a magnetic holder for my mobile phone.

Are you working still or self isolation ?

If the original temp sender is dead and the head works you can work out the thermistor value required to range the head if you have a resistance box or a lowish value potentiometer and an ohm meter, the only point that needs to be correct is at the running temp. Open up the sender and fit the thermistor inside. You can adjust the head a little as well.

I'm still working Peter, the Country needs it's Beanz 😀.
Can you view the pictures, I'm currently on my phone and they don't display.
I've tried several listings on Google Translate and can't decipher the language your using, my mechanical mind doesn't compute.
Could I use my new temp. sensor with my old gauge and modify the gauge to read correctly at normal operating temp?

You can try if it reads too high it will need a resistor in the lead to adjust the head to suit if its low, tuff.

Take care
